The Federation Algerienne de Football has announced a five-year development plan for women’s football, as well as making arrangements for the 2020/21 season.
The first division will have 12 sides, while the second division and youth levels will be organized by geographic region.
The development objectives outlined were:
-Increase the number of clubs and licensees for female players, coaches, administrators and referees
-Strengthen the structures responsible for female football management
-Establishment of a National File (licensed players, clubs, coaches, doctors, managers, etc.)
-Participation in a greater number of competitions at the national and international level
-Improved training for female youth players
-Improving the play of the female national teams
