Earlier in the summer Ligue 1 side Lille were praised for their bargain acquisition of young Angolan forward Osvaldo Pedro Capemba ‘Capita’ from Portuguese 3rd division side C.D. Trofense for only $337,000.
The 18-year-old’s future is now at stake as a legal battle with regard to his transfer has arisen.
The Ligue 1 club are said to have paid Kz200million ($337 000) according to Angolan publication, Correio Kianda, on August 6th.
With the Court of Arbitration for Sport having reportedly directed the proposed fee which involves his previous club, CD Trofense, who now ply their trade in the second tier of Portuguese football, the move of the forward will come at a cost as he could possibly serve a penalty of sanctions.
If infringements are found in his contract with Les Dogues which is reportedly a five-year deal, he could serve sanctions with regards to his playing time.
