Cairo giants Al Ahly have won the Egyptian Premier League for a record 42nd time!
They were crowned champions after it became mathematically impossible for second placed Zamalek to catch up after they lost to Aswan today.
Zamalek dominated the match, but Ibrahim Galal’s goal in stoppage time in the first half proved to seal the championship for the Red Devils at the cost of the White Castle.
Al Ahly currently have an impressive 72 points from 27 matches, only losing once.
They will take on Misr Lel Makkasa tomorrow.
