Kaizer Chiefs have appointed Gavin Hunt as the successor to Ernst Middendorp ahead of the 2020/21 season.
The four-time South African league winner has been available since the controversial sale of Bidvest Wits to TTM one year short of their centenary year.
Chiefs have now taken advantage of the situation to lure the 54-year-old to Naturena after reaching out to Botswana coach Adel Amerouche and former South Africa national team coach Stuart Baxter.
According to KickOff.com, Hunt has signed a deal, which is believed to around the three-year mark ahead of an official announcement from Amakhosi on Thursday.
Hunt has won a total of eight major titles in his 25 years of coaching in South Africa before landing one of the most high-profile jobs on the continent.
