German tactician Ernst Middendorp has settled on a new African club following his sacking from Kaizer Chiefs.
The 61-year-old infamously led Amakhosi to dominance throughout the majority of the most recent PSL season before faltering on the last day and ceding the title to Mamelodi Sundowns.
According to Ethiopian journalist Kidus Yoftahe, Middendorp has agreed to manage Saint George FC for three years.
The Addis Ababa side were leading the 2019/20 Ethiopian Premier League table with 23 points from 12 games.
They have since parted ways with Serbian manager Srdan Zivojhov to open the door to sign one of the more experienced coaches on the continent in Ernst Middendorp.
Middendorp coached Asante Kotoko and Accra Hearts of Oak in the early 2000s.
While the German has spent the past decade managing in South Africa, he will now manage in Ethiopia, the third African country he will manage in.
