Australian giants RB Salzburg are interested in signing South African striker Lyle Foster for the 2019/20 season on loan, according to a South African journalist.
Foster, 19, is contracted to French giants AS Monaco. He spent the last season on loan at Belgian Jupiler Pro League side Cercle Brugge.
Earlier this month it was reported that Turkish outfit Fenerbahce S.K have shown interest in the teenager but it seems the Austrian side are looking to win the race for the striker.
RB Salzburg could be looking to replace their wanted man, Zambian Patson Daka, who’s been in fine form this season scoring 24 goals and 6 assists.
Foster played for Orlando Pirates before moving to France. He stands a good chance of representing South Africa at the Tokyo Olympics next year.
Foster was nominated for the Golden Boy award recently.
