Austrian Bundesliga champions RB Salzburg have recalled Ivorian striker Anderson Niangbo from his loan at league rivals Wolfsberger.
The 20-year-old has represented Les Éléphants for the U17, U20, and U23 teams. He most recently led the line for the U23 Olympic team at the 2019 U23 Africa Cup of Nations that was hosted in Egypt, reaching the finals before losing to the hosts in the finals.
Niangbo began his career at Ivorian Premier League side USC Bassam.
Salzburg coach Jesse Marsch is looking for cover after the sale of Takumi Minamino to Liverpool and Erling Braut Haaland to Borussia Dortmund.
He scored nine goals in 26 games across all competitions while at Wolfsburger.
