The 26-year-old most recently played for Tunisian giants Esperance de Tunis, but he was released earlier this summer.
Lokosa notably won the CAF Champions League with the Tunisian side last season.
He joined Esperance on a contract till June 2021 from Kano Pillars in January 2019 after finishing as top scorer in the 2018 Nigeria Professional Football League season with 19 goals.
During his time with Pillars he made his only appearance with the national team, coming on as a substitute for the Super Eagles in a 1-1 friendly with DR Congo.
Simba have pledged to announce two new signings per day to form a ‘new identity’ leading into the new season.
