African Football HQ Team of the Week #2: Africans star in Ligue 1 return

We are beginning a new series on African Football HQ. We will publish a weekly best XI of African players in competitions around the world.

The squad included players from nine countries, playing in eight different competitions.

The team is lined up in a 3-4-3.

Bono makes the side again. After his heroics in the past two rounds of the UEFA Europa League, the Moroccan stepped up in the final as Sevilla beat Inter.

DF: Ronald Mukiibi (Ostersunds – Uganda)

DF: Ismael Traore (Angers – Ivory Coast)

Angers captain Ismael Traore scored the opening goal in the Ligue 1 return. The goal proved to be decisive as he also kept a cleansheet to win 1-0.
