Zambia sensation Barbara Banda started her life in China on a high as she registered a goal and two assists at her new club Shanghai Shengli.
The former EDF Logroño forward joined the Chinese outfit during the January transfer window after her impressive stint in Spain.
Now, she has hit the ground running in the Chinese Women’s Super League.
The Copper Queens captain opened her account in the 23rd minute after showing good pace to outrun two Zhejiang Hangzhou defenders from the centre before scoring.
Banda also registered an assist for the club’s third goal after taking on five defenders and setting up a teammate inside the box.
She also assisted the club’s fifth goal.
Shengli moves to the top of the league table on goal difference ahead of the defending champions Jiangsu Suning who secured a hard-fought 3-2 win against Hebei China Fortune
