Former Real Madrid midfielder and son of Real Madrid’s boss, Enzo Zidane, will join Botola Pro League giants Wydad AC – his agent Roberto Carlos has confirmed.
The 25 year-old had started his career at Juventus’ youth system before moving previously to Real Madrid in 2004.
He move saw him feature for Real at various youth levels including for the B side and made one senior appearance for the club.
He was unable to reach his full potential and guarantee a starting place in the first team, which saw bum depart the club in search for first team football.
He had stints at Deportivo Alaves. Laussane-Sport, Real Majadahonda, CD Aves and Almeria.
Last season Zidane made four appearances for UD Almeria in La Liga 2 while on loan.
Real Madrid’s boss Zidane has three other sons currently playing football. Luca, a 22 year-old goalkeeper, has made two senior appearances for Real and is currently on loan at Racing Santander. Meanwhile, Theo, a 18 year-old midfielder, and Elyaz, a 14 year-old defender, are part of Real’s academy.
Hopefully, Enzo will find his feet at Wydad AC and hit the ground running.
The French midfielder has shown signs of great potential but will need to prove himself in the tough matches of Botola Pro League to earn the love of the Wydad faithful.
